Alright, gang. The new show we've all been waiting for is almost here. We're going to watch the show, cheer on the star - Urbancougar of the Month Stacey Anderson - and give our spontaneous thoughts right here in this space. We hope you'll follow along and give your thoughts as well in the comments. We're West Coasters, so we'll be starting at 10PM Pacific time. East Time Zoners, don't spoil it for us!

The Cougar premiere's on TV Land at 10PM/9 Central time.

2:19 PM PST | We're as anxious as you are, Dynomite! The show can't come soon enough.

8:40 PM | Okay, we're getting impatient now. So much of the world has gotten to see Stacey Anderson in action already, and yet we wait and wait. We're trying to avoid checking the message boards and reading about the episode because we don't want to spoil the surprise (what is this Lost?). But we did sneak a peak at Stacey's Twitter (that's not as dirty as it sounds) and we must say, we can't wait to see the dude wearing an ascot. Bold choice.

8:44 | This is really one of the few times living on the West Coast sucks.

9:00 | T-minus one hour. We're just getting the den situated. Setting the proper mood with some nice indirect lighting, a touch of incense, and a truckload of beer.

9:05 | Immediately preceding The Cougar on TV Land? The Andy Griffith Show.

9:06 | Times change.

9:56 | All right. Nearly go time!

10:00 | Here we go... "I'm in my prime, they're in my prime."''

10:02 | Man, Stacey is hot.

10:03 | Speaking of hot... Vivica Fox! How many of these young dudes do you think will make a pass at her? How many are there? 20? We put the over-under at 12.

10:05 | Stacey got married on her 16th birthday?! Did we hear that right?

10:06 | Here she comes... limo's pulling up... she gets out, looking sexy in a black dress.

10:07 | "Cougarvilla" - great call, Vivica.

10:07 | And now the cubs. Let's see what they're all about... wow, that guy just said, "I hope this cougar likes lamb because I'm nice and sweet and tender." Solid cheese.

10:08 | Stacey enters and all the guys are floored. With good reason.

10:09 | And after the break, we're all going to get wasted.

10:10 | We're back from commercial and now we get the introductions. This ought to be interesting.

10:10 | First, we have argyle sweater wearin' Travis, all of 21, sharing a legal drink with our cougar.

10:11 | Here comes Tom. He's a cougar novice apparently and likes vests. Kai, the smooth talker, enters and just as soon leaves. Must be the editing.

10:12 | Now we have two brothers. That'll be awkward. Almost as awkward as one of the brother's pink ruffled tuxedo shirt. Terrible. Seems like a nice enough guy, though.

10:13 | We briefly get Jim and then Austin who has apparently been waiting a long time to meet Stacey and has lost sleep over it. We find that hard to believe. Not because Stacey isn't worth losing sleep over, but because we suspect that he was cast in this show about a week before taping. And now Rich who claims to be nervous but looks like he's only playing. And now suit-wearing, drop-down-on-one-knee Jimmy. Maybe a little premature? Oh, and a cheesy whisper. This guy's got reality show game. Makes Stacey laugh even.

10:14 | Uh oh. Sgt. Ryan is a plant by the liberal media intended to make light of our Armed Servicemen! Okay, we kid, but this guy just bumbled through his intro and said Stacey looks "way too old to be a cougar." Toast. Or maybe she'll be forgiving.

10:14 | Officer Nick does no favors for our valiant police officers either. He throws out the "You're under arrest for stealing my heart" line. Follows it up with: "You have the right to remain delicious." Suave.

10:15 | Dave brings flowers and lets Stacey know he's not a deadbeat. He seems like he makes a good impression and might be an early favorite.

10:15 | Enter Bodie, the pool boy. No really.

10:16 | Johnny wants to dance. Kevin's 11 feet tall. Brad AKA The Bear sashays up to The Cougar in all his Chi-Town bartender glory. All of our friends in Chicago cringe. In a cut-away interview Brad defends himself by saying he gave her a little "booty shake" because she appeared tight. We don't think it worked. What actually might have worked? Joe's safari shtick. He gets points for mild cleverness, utter fearlessness and for getting what appeared to be a genuine giggle out of the cougar. Next up, some guy we'll call Creepy Poet. Followed by Guitar Guy singing obligatory cougar song. He's called Colt. And he speaks of himself in the third person. But he looks to have a chance in this little competition.

10:17 | Okay, TV Land breaks to pay the bills. So who you laying early money on?

10:20 | One-on-one time! Stacey chooses the 21 year-old!!!

10:21 | That's Travis, by the way. Colt calls him a pretty boy. And thinks that's bad. He's probably right in the grand scheme of things, but Travis is nonetheless safe and has Stacey's eye early. That can't be bad. But who cares! It's drunk time at the Cougarvilla!

10:22 | Travis likes things involving boards.

10:22 | Stacey liked his "air." And the fact that he was cute. And they kiss.

10:23 | Shots.

10:25 | Stacey is just out there preaching the urbancougar lifestyle. We love it.

10:26 | The one-on-ones just always seem really awkward in these Bachelorette type shows.

10:27 | The Military Man is trying to redeem his earlier failures with new failures.

10:27 | They always end up in the pool.

10:30 | Colt gets a little alone time and defends his cougar song and strikes down the double standard. It works. We were right. He looks like he's in this hunt. He gets a kiss.

10:33 | Dave gets some alone time and builds on his earlier success. He's, however, cock-blocked by the Safari Man from Bah-ston.

10:34 | Tall Unemployed Guy is trying to woo Stacey with his "class" and a rather vivid pick-up line. Dollars-to-donuts he gets a kiss off along with our military friend.

10:36 | Didn't even realize Colt was Ascot Guy until Military Man used "ascot" as an conjunction between two swears.

10:37 | Drunk Military Man and Ascot Guy nearly go to blows. But if Military Man has succeeded at all, it's in drawing attention to Colt's ascot.

10:38 | And now a break before the kiss-off!

10:43 | Who get a kiss and move on to the next round? Travis, Colt... oh, Rich gets dissed. The Creepy Poet is the first to go!

10:45 | Adam and John survive. David too. Ouch! The Ruffled Tux Brother tries to bow out gracefully but Stacey lets him know "I was going to give you my cheek anyway." Note, gentlemen. Stupid shirts will get you nowhere. Neither will creepy poetry.

10:46 | Suit Dude advances. Safari Man approaches and receives a kiss! Jim moves on, too. Brad approaches to get dinged for sure... Yup.

10:47 | Officer Nick makes it in somewhat of a surpise. Kai passes too. Johnny? He gets a kiss. Sleepless in Austin gets a kiss!!!

10: 47 | Bodie gets the cheek. Sorry, bro, we hardly knew you.

10:48 | Oh, wait. Was that Creepy Poet that just got a kiss? We already can't keep these guys straight. Here comes Tom. He gets a kiss. Down to Military Man and Tall Unemployed Guy.  And Tall Guy gets the dis! Apparently she didn't care for his bad pickup lines. And she clearly wanted to give Ryan, the military man, a chance to make up for his early mistakes.

10:50 | And we get a sneak peak at the season. It looks like it's going to be a good time. And looks like Stacey's going to make the most of it! Fun stuff. Thanks for joining us for the premiere tonight!
