How can you not fall head over heels in love with the Alpha Cougar?! Or for a woman who knows the power of the “cleavage close.” Impossible. Top that off with the fact that Debra is smoking hot, super cool, serious fun, sharp as a razor, enjoys sports, and loves “to drive speed boats about 70MPH,” and you’ve got yourself one irresistible Urbancougar.

Debra tells us the Alpha Cougar moniker was given to her by a very close friend. “At first I didn’t understand it, but I caught on quick,” she says. “When young men start paying attention to me, it is just such a wonderful thing to experience.”

So wonderful in fact, she’s sharing her experience with the world in a recently completed a short film called “Bad Day.” “I play a married older woman having an affair with a younger man. But we don’t get caught, thank God!” (We’ve seen it and can’t wait for the rest of the world to have a look. It’s friggin awesome!)

Debra is reasserting herself in Hollywood after some time away to attend to her family and beautiful daughters. “I did many commercials when I was younger,” she tells us, “and now am starting to do some independent films again.” She’s excited about the new challenges and ready to take on the world!

Now on to the Q&A!

What do you think it means to be a cougar?
For me, it is a wonderful thing that has happened to older women in today’s world. 50 is the new 40, 40 the new 30, and being a cougar has made me timeless and young all over again. I am so thankful for this new phenomenon. 

However, in today’s world, we older women look so different than of decades ago. Diet, exercise, lifestyle has changed the way we look and think today, and these young men keep us mentally young which I just love and I am grateful for everyone of them!!!

We cougars know what we want, we are not afraid to speak our minds about sex, politics, sports, money, and I believe we are great role models for the young girls of today. I know many that look at me and hope they look like me at my age. It also means “empowerment” - we are not afraid to tell our men what we want or need and we do not play games.  We are strong women, which has a fine line of how to cross it without being intimidating and still just being yourself and approachable.

We cougars are not afraid of dating younger men, when in the past it was unacceptable, thank god for Demi and Ashton.

What do you find attractive about younger men?
Their great energy, their attitudes, their successes at younger ages, their maturity (well, most of them), and I think they are just fascinating! They like to have fun and don't have baggage that could fill a Delta baggage claim from a 747 that just landed. The younger men of today are so cool and just a new smarter breed. They seem to love us older women and appreciate not only our beauty, but our brains and wisdom. I know they love my sexuality so I am sure other cougars are experiencing this as well. They just keep us young and I am grateful for every moment of this time in my life. You younger men, just keep on admiring, I love it!

Why do you think they're drawn to you?
My smile first, my laugh, my scent and naturally, I have great sex appeal thru the way I look but also my funny attitude. But once they get to hang out with me, they find I am cool and can hang with the boys. It’s also my infamous football pics I do every Sunday – LOL! 

I think the number one thing is my kisses if they get to experience that. Kissing is the most important thing to me, it tells all. If the kiss isn't good, there is no first base, they are just sent back to the bullpen for more practice. If a kiss is hot, it usually has a very happy ending. I am amazed at how the younger men of today are so experienced and sexy.

How does it make you feel when a young man hits on you or falls prey to your seductions?
It makes me feel wonderful and beautiful and it is very flattering, except when they are younger than my daughters...YIKES! Then I have to be a sneaky alpha cougar :)

How do you maintain your feline allure?
I take great care of myself. I work out every day. I love yoga and do it at least three times a week. I box four times a week. I run, lift weights, and when I need to really get in shape for a shoot, I will work extra hard with a trainer.  My diet is very important to me so I eat very, very healthy. I will have a few Bud Lights every now and then, mostly during sports, but I am very disciplined and I drink lots of water and get my beauty sleep, and live a clean lifestyle.

Have any words of wisdom out there for your fellow cougars out there?
Enjoy life to the fullest. Never let age get in the way of friendship or relationships. Judge men by their own personalities, not by the numbers and just be happy and know that you only go around once, so make the most of it.

We live in a wonderful and interesting time with many opportunities. Just go for anything you want, and think young and you will stay looking young. I am still only about 16 in the brain. Getting older is not a curse or end of the world anymore. Here I am in my 50’s with 20 something's chasing me, when I am 60, they will be 30 something's, and 70 probably only late 30 something's, wow, I can't wait to see my future!! :):)
