Sarah: Urbancougar of the Month, June 2005
"I did the whole ‘he's older and wiser’ thing and found that I would only eventually assume the power position in the relationship, which would wind up causing me to resent this much older guy. I would think, ‘Where is your life experience? What are you bringing to the table?!’ When I'm with a younger man, I bring my life experience, and I openly teach. I appreciate if he ends up in control; that is sexy—a major turn-on. But if he allows me the reins I don't mind. That is also sexy. It's a win/win situation."
Why we love her
From what we gather, Sarah’s all about educating the eager young students at the University of Texas. Call us crazy, but we love any urbancougar who lives in a college town and aims to spread her knowledge and what-not. We were college students once and advances from women like Sarah were always welcome.
Sarah grew up in Pacific Beach, California ("also a great place for cougars," she says) and now lives in Austin where she’s making good use of all those Longhorns. She says she likes being an urbancougar because "it's taboo, so it's sexy."
Sarah, we’re trying to get rid of that ridiculous taboo, but breaking taboos takes time. So enjoy it. We certainly will.
Q&A
Were you born a cougar?
I was raised by two very loving California hippie parents that told me ‘love is not a specific height, color, or age.
Do you have any special tactics when hunting your prey?
Eye contact. If you give me your eyes, it's on.
Any words of encouragement for your fellow cougars out there?
Two: Ashton Kutcher."
